Introduction - New member

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member here, considering an '83 kz550 as a first/project bike. If you have any advice, head over here .

As a basic introduction, I got my motorcycle licence a while ago, but as the sole income in the family, haven't been able to afford a bike yet. I am itching to get on the road, so I got the bug to do a project bike. I can turn a wrench, but haven't done the more advanced stuff, like adjust timing or valves.

And if anyone is in my area (Houston), let me know, I'll come over and help you wrench on your bikein exchange for the experience.
