New Canadian member...

Hello all,
I'm a new member here. I just got around to dragging home a bike I came into ownership of.
The bike is a Canadian spec '79KZ1000E-1. Its got 34000kms or 20'000 miles on it.
Except for 300 miles in '02 the bike hasn't been started or ridden since the early nineties. My Uncle bought it new in '79. Bike came (dealer/factory equipped) with a Windjammer fairing and lowers KB hardbags and trunk and a saddleman seat. Except for tires is all original.
I look forward to some helpful advice along the way.

There seems to be a growing Canadian crowd here, and its great to see more people from outside the Onterrible.

If I can get my ducks in a row, and have a little luck this spring and summer, I hope to ride my somewhat rebuilt 650 out the east coast and back late summer. If you or any other KZ owners out that way want to meet for coffee and do a bit of the Cabot trail as a gang let me know. There are a handful of KZ'ers out there, and it is always fun to meet other (insane for owning/maintaining/restoring/fretting about....)riders. LOL
