Hello,
I recently joined the forum. Lots of good information for KZ fans. Pictures of my bikes are attached including my KZ1000J3 Canadian which is currently depicted on KZ1000r.com's home page as January 2013's BOTM and my 2002 ZX-12r B1 which I have owned since new.

Cheers

Welcome Brent.
My buddy with the KZ1000R still has it.
Emailed with him over the last few days.

"Still have it. Maybe looking to sell it sometime soon."

I have let him know you've been asking about it.
I will let you know when he's ready to sell, and if I don't work out a deal.
;)

What about Harold with the KZ1100R?
Did you speak with him?
Also on my wish list.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the info on the KZ1000r. I have not given your friend a call...and may not. Although his bike looks good and generally complete, my preference is a green one if I go that route. Still thinking....

If I recall correctly, the KZ1100R sold in Canada were all silver/blue...the Euro edition Z1100R were the green bikes. So, an original green KZ1100R had to have been imported from Europe (it'll have a Euro VIN). A green KZ1100R with a North American VIN is a repaint...or has all the bodywork replaced.

Vintage's preference is for the '82 & '83 KZ1000R.
The '84 KZ1100R was just another option.

The GPz can make a nice S clone too Vintage.

This one shows up at Famous Sam's on Sundays.

Nice bikes, and welcome from another Canuck.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
