New Z Rider
06 Jan 2013 19:07
Hello all, just recently here I purchased a Christmas present for myself. Decided to sell a collector car that was, for the most part just garage art and scratch another item off my bucket list. Found a beautiful 77 KZ1000 to fill the space in the garage. As I good friend mentioned, I can fill the space with four motorcycles that one car requires. I can't take credit for the work that has been done to this motorcycle.....but its my job now to take it to the next level.
This would be my second Z, since I had 78 KZ1000 when I was younger, mostly drag raced the heck out of it. Back then they were super fast right off the showroom floor. There was a outlaw drag strip near where I lived and Saturday and Sundays were always a blast. Just pull up to the line and race what ever was next to you, cars, bikes, race cars. Fortunately I lived though this, but could never happen today.
Its been modified to some extent, so to many purest it may not be their 'cup of tea' but I must say its beautiful. And to ride it...well makes me feel like I'm a kid again....you know what I mean. Maybe the next one will be numbers matching, original to the nubs on the tires, but this one is for riding...........
Appreciate the club
Regards, Brad

Good looking bike as well as the mustang! I've been away from cars too long, I thought a 289 4V was an R code. I'm slipping.
