Hi there

Just got my first old Kawasaki. A 1983 Z750L3. A non runner that I got very cheap.
The starter clutch has a fault, and the previous owner kept it in his garage for 5-6 years. Så cabs, brakes suspension and so on, is in need of a good cleaning.
Have had a lot of old/classic Honda's, but knows nothing about the old Kawasaki's.

My 1981 kz1000 starter clutch was so badly loose that it sheared two of the starter clutch bolts. The two bolt holes were sloted from the rocking .I found big metal chunks in the oil pan from the starter gear and stator bolts hitting. There are home made tools to remove the stator. Hope this helps.
