New motorcyclist and KZrider

Hey all! I've been hovering around this site looking for info to fix my bike up and thought I should just join already. I'm a medic in the army and i have been wanting to get a bike my whole life. My 79 KZ650 found me in June and after jumping through all the hoops to be able to ride on post she died. Thats how i found my way to this site :)

I'm busy, lazy, and i procrastinate but I would love to put my build up. Someday my 650 will be a cafe racer. Oh and she's up and running now... well kind of ;)

Howdy. May I suggest simply keeping up on the maintenance & just ride?
Cafe stuff will just mean more money & down time.

Yeah I definitely know what you mean about getting some more riding time in but my bike just broke again lol. Cracked the pump cover assembly while putting my carb back together. Once again she is out of commission so until the part gets here I will have the time to work on it. I'm excited to get it done but motivation comes & goes. I'll (hopefully) post my build up tonight.
