My 1980 KZ1000G was created by Wmaines

Hello my name is Bill.. I live in south bend, IN. I recently bought this kz1000 from a friend.. i like the bike allot but I'm having a hard time finding someone who will work on it.. I am no mechanic so it's the blind leading the blind here.. She leaks gas from the right side for some reason after I ride it and seems to fouls out plugs for some reason as well. Any suggestions? Anyone from the area that could help??

Looks like somebody changed it from injectors to a set of mikunis in the past,id try tapping on that float bowl on bottem of carb with a screwdriver handle to see if it knocks the crud from the needle and seat in carb first

South Bend? I'm about 40 miles to the southwest of you. Is that the one that was posted on craigslist for a while? looked nice to me if it is.

Welcome from Ohio...I had a hard time finding someone....went to local Kawasaki dealer and he gave me some names....I would try this route.
