Names Taylor age 29, not new to the KZ world...had a Clean 81 KZ1100B1 (GPz) with a Yosh 4-1 as my second machine. Low mile, with working EFI....the one machine i really regeret selling to this day. Had a super clean 84 750 GPz right after that i bought from the original owner. Fast forward a Ducati GT1000, 999, KLR650 and to my current permanent stable and here we are. haha.

A friend had a 78 KZ650 with 30,000 kms on it and the valve lash set so with that horrid procedure paid for by him i figured why not, although i decided to sell a second completely rebuilt cases split XS650 motor to fund this one. 3 summers ago I turned a sack of shit free to me 74 TX650 into a nice clean Daily for a a few dollars  Oh and i also own a 2010 Kawasaki Versys for touring and my wife has a 2012 BMW f800 to tour with me.

before

after

and the GPZ1100 i sold :(

I shall! Forgot how fun old 4 cyls are ( i briefly owned a SOHC 500-4 too). Thanks on the Yamaha, It isnt a nut and bolt by any means. But i really love to drive it. I just put some Triumph Bonneville mufflers on it shortly after that pic. Now it really confuses people.

Discovered although my KZ runs pretty good i reaaally hate pod filters!! to windy here. Airbox was luckily included.

Good call on that one! These bikes run really well using the stock airbox. Ed

Welcome aboard, Taylor. It looks like you'll fit right in. :)

Welcome man. I had an 84 GPZ750 back around 87. It was a blast to ride. Could burn it curb to curb easily and controllable, fun bike. ;)

Remember, don't work on your bike so much you never ride it.
