NEWBIE IN INDY was created by boyd825
Just found this site by accident but think it's totally awesome! I've been searching around and like what I see. I have had a few variety of motorcycles over the years, (sportbikes, and dirtbikes), but I have owned my 1977 KZ1000 for 3 years now. I love riding it and I love the looks I get from people. The young guys stare because its loud and they don't know what it is and the 'old' guys stare because the DO know what it is and appreciate it. I will post some pics of me and my bike later.

As I said I stumbled on this site because I was looking at fender eliminators and saw pictures of some from this site. My first question is what kind of thin, narrow taillight, that fits up under the upper fender is there to use?

Welcome on board, you have a lot of kaws around you being from Indy. I'm sure you know cycle recycle well by now so it shouldn't be hard to find a donor tail light to suit your taste.

Welcome, Im from Indy also. well around Shelbyville. Lots of old bikes in Indy. You know vintage bike night is at the Steer Inn, 10th and Emerson on the first Thursday of each Month around 6pm-dark. Lots of old bikes of all kinds. Its a good time. seasons almost over but maybe the weather will hold out for one more night.
See ya
