Hi Everyone,
I spent the last couple days working my way through a 37 page thread and by the end I felt like I knew half of the people here so I joined. I recently picked up a 1983 KZ440b that only had 3,090 miles on it. The original owner bought it and rode it for a few years and then got married and had kids and the wife made him sell it. Thankfully he at least took care of it aside from the fact it still had the original tires and battery. I was glad to get it because my very first bike was a KZ440 and the price was too good to pass up.

Very nice '440! Welcome aboard and enjoy your ride.
For the record, if I were married and my wife demanded I get rid of something from before the marriage, she might find herself looking for her own place to live.

Wife must be a hottie for him to give up a pretty bike like that. Nice score!

I saw the wife, I'd have rode the bike long before I rode her. I added the saddlebags and windshield along with something I am suprised no one asked about. Right between the gauges is my favorite addition, a cup holder! I got it from autozone, modified it and bolted it to the handlebars. Its great for holding a nice cool drink on a hot day.
