New Menber From Phoenix
13 Jun 2006 23:16
Hello all! Been browsing your site for some time now and am finally getting around to joining in. I bought my 1st street bike last August. A 1980 KZ750 LTD. I've put about 2,500 miles on it and the only mech. work I've had to do so far is replace the petcock. Although I have done some cosmetic mods. ( handle bars, mirrors, 900 tail, custom seat...) Still have lots I want to do (pods, 4 into 1, ext swingarm, paint etc.) I'll attempt to post some picks. Looking forward to chatting and recieving advice from some of you "pros". Bo

Welcome Bo -- another AZ guy here. By all means, let's see some pics.
"All year round" riding is a relative term -- it hit 109 down here in cool Tucson today, roads are probably melting up in Bo's town. OK, maybe nighttime riding this time of year.

Oh yeah, it's cookin' out here allready! Believe it or not, most of the back roads I take to work (50 min. ride) are farmland. A lot of irrigation goes a long way to cool things down a bit. City riding however, with protection gear and all, can make you feel like a baked potato. But having lived most of my life in Ohio, I'll take a little scorching over a lot of freezing any day! Thanks for the welcome. BTW, I figured out how to change all of my saved pix down to 550 pixles but now it says that the file was too big. How many KBs is too big? I'm going to attemp one more shot. Wish me luck....
