Welcome, nice ride you have there.
First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, 1983 fully recon motor fitted LOVE THIS BIKE
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as FJ above)

:lol: :lol: Love the story about your son learning to ride. I have three boys but still not old enough to worry about that yet. I know what you're say'n about the wife freaking. Man, I wish I would have learned to ride a motorcycle on a classic 'Z' when I was fifteen. But then again, it wouldn't have been a classic 'Z' back then. But a brand new modern production motorcycle :laugh: .

taught my son to ride when he was 6 now he's 21 he loves my old KZ but like his dad he loves all things 2 wheeled (his hd and his scooter)

Welcom Budy to the only KZ site that matters. Love the old school Z1 and KZ stuff. Gets in the blood stream and never leaves. Here is a shot of mine. Like the low lean clean style.
Am addicted to Z1's and kz 900's have an el camino, fly rc helicoptors and am strung out on horsepower.

It's a 1977 kz 1000 with a bored 1976 kz 900 engine with 1981 csr forks and swingarm with a little harley added in. Raked tripple trees and Marving pipe.
Am addicted to Z1's and kz 900's have an el camino, fly rc helicoptors and am strung out on horsepower.
