Just found this site

Just reading a article on Accelerate magazine about the North American Relay Ride 2012, which talked about this site, so just had to join! Man, I wish I had known about the site before, would have loved to participate in the relay.

I've been riding Z and KZ bikes for over 30 years, as you can see by my signature. I blame the Z/KZ bug on one of my older brothers, who gave me a ride back in 1977 on his new KZ 900. Ever since then, I was hooked. My first Kaw I bought over 30 years ago and still own.

Welcome! I spent about a 1/2 hr. talking the relay with Lance at the AMA days in Mid Ohio, nice guy.

Welcome Bull, looking forward to seeing some photos of your bikes. Looks like you take very good care of bikes. Its not too late to get in on the relay. I estimate it will be in east Ohio in a week or two. At the minimum you can ride along for part of a leg. Send a private message to KZ_Rage. He has been organizing the current part of the relay leg. Well KZJoe, up to about two years ago, I also had a 1973 Z 900, a 1976 KZ 900 and a 1978 KZ 1000 along with my other bikes. Through the years, the wife would say "why don't you get rid of that old junk!". Unfortunately, I listened to her and sold those three, and I could still kick myself for selling that '73.

I'll have to pull up some pics, will post. Here is a pic of my '75 z 900, I took about a month ago.

Not sure if I'm suppose to post pics here, so don't anyone yell, still learning your forum. Here are a couple of pics of my boy learning to ride the '75 z900 two summers ago. I think he was 15 or 16 at the time, had to do it when the wife was away, otherwise she would freak out having her baby on a bike.
