New Guy...wish I was new. was created by OldSchoolZ
Recently picked up another Z and started messing with it. Sure enough there was a site for Z riders. The recent buy was a 1978 1000LTD not running. Frames was straight and clear title, good potential. I was a motorcycle mechanic for about 20 years and when the recession hit, I got out and went into the pipeline industry.
Now its for fun. Put J model intake boots and police CV carbs with new K&N ovals. Probably will get a jet kit or some good needles. Going to go turbo eventually and stretch it out a bit(6 inches) or so.
Many parts to buy before then and hopefully be out of this townhome by then and back with a garage.
I already have a motorcycle Handy Airlift and bunch of stuff, just no garage :pinch:

Remember, don't work on your bike so much you never ride it.
