This is what it used to look like before I changed the stripes and handlebars.
Am addicted to Z1's and kz 900's have an el camino, fly rc helicoptors and am strung out on horsepower.

Beautiful Kawasaki!

And also beautiful GS. Looks like a 1980 or 81 GS1100E? I'd guess 1981. I have a 1982 GS750E with that same paint. 1100E had different body style and paint in 1982.

Looks like an 83 gs1100 to me anyway,the year they finally got a decent crank! :laugh:

wrong tank, headlight, sidecover, and tail for '83. Color is close, except the '83 1100E did not have the orangish stripe outline on the tank, cover, and tail piece. I think it is an '81 with a non-stock paint job. Copied the '82 750E paint.

Yeah youre right,I had an 82 1100e years ago that was basically same style as the 83s but it was silver.
The square headlight was screwing with my head,I didnt think that happened till later. :laugh:
