83 KZ750 F1 LTD

Got one two weeks ago, now I have three

tried twice to put a post up with long breifing of my short history with these bikes along with pictures for you faffi, now I am just trying to get the post to work.

ok now its working so...

I picked up a 1983 KZ750 F1 LTD of craigslsit after talking motorcycles with my dad who has had an 81 Kz750 E sitting around forever.




Wish I had pictures of it before, literally covered in black spray paint. needed the starter clutch rebuilt, did that with results of it still spinning out. went and picked up another 83 for a parts bike, took the whole secondary shaft with starter clutch out, swapped em, now its working. needed carb rebuilt, so I put a Dyanjet Stage III in (136 jets plus needles) because i put pods and a Kerker 4-1 (just open header now). got it running awesome, got ready to go for first ride, stalls when i put it in to gear= no clutch. so now I broke down and joined KZr because I had been simply doing google searches for fix problems that I could get out of my shop manual.

So here I am, super stoked that I am so close on getting down the road, SO PLEASE HIT ME BACK WITH SOME GREAT INFO ON HOW TO GET ME ON THE ROAD. I have made a post in the chassis section on this problem.

And if it already has not happened, lets make a section for those of us who got the shaft (no pun intended) lets help eachother out.
