G'day from Down Under
28 Jul 2012 22:43
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationG'day I'm a new member from NAIRNE South Australia I'm an old fart at 61 years old and have had motorcycles from the age of 15. My first bike was an old 1951 Ariel 500cc Red Hunter I bought for 20 pounds. I have never been without a bike except for 1 year when I was in the Army and posted to Vietnam in 1970-71.
I just won a bike on USA eBay and I am in the process of getting it shipped back here, it is a 1977 KZ 1000 A1, a bloke has done a lot of work on it and it looks great. My superannuation is looking a bit crook at the moment so I thought I would search the net for suitable bikes to buy and then work on them to maybe make a few bucks and have the satisfaction of bringing a bike back to it's former glory. I love the bikes of the late 1960's -70's and early 80's and in particular the Kwakas. . I hope to pick up a lot of information about these bikes on this forum, regards to all Neil

Welcome to KZR, and good luck once you get the bike home. That must take awhile to clear customs and ship all the way to Adelaide. There are some other members around your area I've seen posts from. Hopefully you guys can get a ride together around the area.
