Hi everyone I am new

Hi everyone I am new and from Ontario Canada I own a 1978 Kz650 and i had a brand new 2011 yamaha fz6r but was in a accident and my fz6r is done. I am looking to fix my Kz650 up to get it back on the road.

Also from Ontario here, North of Toronto.
Don't think your going to find a place that sells brand new engines for the 1978 kz650.
Some will rebuild an engine for you if you've got a decent donor to work with, otherwise you'd have to look around in classified adds for someone selling a 650, 750 or turbo 750 engine to fit, 650 being the easiest swap.

Just saw a banner on the previous page here at the bottom advertising engine building.
Cavanaugh Racing rebuilds motors too I believe.

What part of Ontario you in?

But yeah the reason why, is my engine actually there s a hole that blew out of the engine block

You may be able to source a brand new engine from a ZR-7 or ZR750, but the cost would likely be prohibitive. Try to source one with low mileage instead, as they came in 650, 700 and 750 versions en masse.

Welcome aboard. I'd love to see a project thread on a rebuild of your 78 KZ650. Those sure are nice bikes and it's great you have one you can restore.

We do like lots of pictures. But just so you don't misunderstand--pics of your bike, not you

Yeah I ll make one for sure I just need to get I into my new garage once we finish building and all I gotta replace is the engine which is a lot haha but yeah once I get it in the garage I'll have plenty of pics of the bike
