New member from central CA. 1996 KZ 1000 bagger

Picked this up several weeks ago, 36,000 miles, new tires, runs beautifully.

I wasn't wild about the cop look, but there is a serious lack of inspiring photos on the web (that, or my google-fu is broken)

I started by cutting the windshield down by about 12" and contouring it to look like a bagger. I then removed the fenders, and fairing and bags and painted everything rattle can black.

I'd like to find some different handle bars that aren't so swoopy but I haven't figured out what would look good.

Anyway, here's pics from when I brought it home to how it sits right now.

Could check out some police bikes in "KZ GALLERY" (see ribbon at top of screen).

I typically build 4x4's so it's in my nature to never leave anything alone
