Hello, d_boi_swag, and WELCOME to KZr! :cheer:

Any unusual noises when it shut off?

Was it an instant shut off, like flipping the kill switch?

Or a slower shut off, like running out of gasoline?

Good Fortune! :)

ok i noticed backfiring when i was riding on the highway not alot but it was there. when it died it just bogged down and died. when i bought the bike from the guys they had it charging on jumper cables on a pick up and from what im told your not supposed to do this (im new to bikes) but i got to looking around when the bike was parked and noticed the brake indacator switch was burnt up idk if this would stop the bike from running but i doubt it the intake boot are in bad shape and have cracks in them but other then that i can really see anything i havent broke out the multi meter and started testing anything yet i have spark but it doesnt seem that strong

Might be fuel starvation, for whatever reason.

What was fuel tank level at time of shutting down?
Would double-check fuel level in tank to be ample and higher than reserve level.

Is the petcock a manual (ON, OFF, RES) or vacuum (ON, RES, PRI) style?

Good Fortune! :)
