Just signed up; from central NY state. Bought an 81 KZ750 a few weeks ago and I'm starting to work on it now, along with an 88 454LTD and an 81 Suzuki GS450.

The intro section says to feel free to attach a photo of my bike... sorry, i don't have any yet and it's still partly disassembled in my garage. Having trouble getting it to idle smooth. Lots of time to mess with it though, no hurry.

Well i do have a photo of that damn vacuum-diaphram fuel petcock if you really want a disassembly pic... had to take that thing apart the other day and scratched my head half the time I looked at it.

Q: Anybody know what that little wafer-type fiberglass disc is for? It's the little black dot-circle on the far right, underneath the screw-in brass vacuum nipple.
