New KZ400 owner

Hi, my name is Farick and I'm the proud new owner of a 1976 KZ400B. This is my first KZ and the first project I've worked on. I was referred to this site by a friend who got a lot of help on his project bike I hope that I can benefit from some expert knowledge as well. Here's a few pics of the beast. 
I've got the carbs off and am trying to clean them but it looks like the PO took a screw driver to them and really think I may need to get new ones...we'll see.
