Intro. and seeking advice

Hey, I have had my Franken KZ for over 10 yrs now(most if it sitting or watching other bikes get ridden) but now due to finances I have decided that if I want to ride I will have to fix what I have. Not that it upsets me because I love the look and sound of KZ's. See my signature and point me it the direction of any info. you thing would be most useful. Thanks

77 KZ1000A frame
78 KZ1000D motor
Not currently running due to:
Electrical problems
Valve issues probably related to heli coil pieces
holding valve open

A list of cosmetic/personal preference items to work on

Valve tolerances are off, hoping interference from broken piece of a heli coil but have to address the electrical issues first.

77 KZ1000A frame
78 KZ1000D motor
