yep, i have Geerz4brains

hi all members,..basically i have Geers4brains but,.. this is my first bike build and first (street bike) i've owned in over twenty. Did i just say that? Dang time flies when you raise kids and become brain dead.
I've been addicted to anything with an engine from a small age and it never quit,..I've had the pleasure of building, restoring and modifying every thing from go-carts, R.c. planes to flat head pre 48's to anything built by the big three auto companies up to about 75. and just loved my therapy time in my shop as often as i could hide out there.
Then, divorce,...."yeah sell everything in the house or take it,.i'm keeping all my shop stuff and tools". lost just about everything, relocated from colorado to oregon.
so i get here and before i even have a job I start jones'in for a project,..had to be small cause all my stuff is in a storage place.
The project gods work in mysterious ways,...cause i found an 82 kz550 in decent shape and all of it still there and together for $500 that was suppossedly running when stashed away about 7-10 years ago. a close relative to the 82 gpz550 i owned (a red one) from 85-88 and i've wanted another one since about 15 minutes after i sold it.
I'm planning on a Kawasaki Green Gpz Clone kinda deal. and plan on a build thread soon, but wanted to stop by here, say hi, and introduce myself, cause i will be asking alot of what are probably elemantary questions to you seasoned veterans that i will dropping messages to from time to time.. so THANK YOU in advance for your patience. and i look forward to riding again......soon i hope.
