hi Im marcel been a freak for anything with a motor all my life, my rides are 2005 suzuki drz 400 2007 can am 400 outlander 1966 beaumont convertible 1966 chevelle ss 4 speed and the latest is my first bike i owned when i was 18 im turning 50 soon is a 1978 kz650c i tottaly restored it top to bottom started it valentines day should have it done but had some set backs like saddleman seat cover not working having one made now, bleeding brakes and biggest trouble is i switched to led turn signals and a combination led tail/brake/ licence plate light havnt got it figured out yet. i have resourced this site a few times figuring things out i thank you all i will post pics of the project as well as its first burn out, WEG

Welcome to KZR topless. Please post some pictures of your rides. Pictures are what we enjoy most. As for bleeding the brakes, I just went through the same issue. I rebuilt my caliper and master cylinder and then had trouble bleeding properly. Tried the traditional pumping of the lever and letting the air out initally. Then tried gravity bleed. Next, I reversed bled. Finally an neighbor brought over a pump that he uses to change his fluid every 12,000 mi. He attached it to the bleeder valve/nut and the pump sucks the brake fluid. Just had to make sure the reservoir doesn't go dry. Brakes are great now. HF carries the on sale for $30 from time to time. And since it is useful for changing the fluid on the bike periodically, it means it is not a buy and use once every ten year tool.
