Another new newby

Just bought a 2001 P20 and thought I would join a forum that has enough people that are smarter than me so I can keep it running properly without having to resort to the shop...although it is in the shop now getting new tires, chain & sprockets, regulator and a once over. I don't have the equipment to balance tires, so I figure I will let them do all the initial dirty work, then I will start managing my own maintenance.

Looking forward to chatting with all the KZ lovers out there, this is my third or fourth KZ...I go through a lot of bikes

Try and find yourself a factory service manual, and do all of the maintenance work necessary for whatever mileage that you are currently at. You will enjoy your riding experience much more when the bike is functioning correctly. Sounds like you are off to a good start.

Thanks, I have done some of the work, but will probably let the local shop do most...getting too busy to spend too much time tinkering when I could be riding.
