Hello All

Hey all. My name is Dan and I live in Central Illinois. I won't lie, I don't own a KZ....I ride triples. But, my wife has one :) I restored this and gave it to her as a wedding present on our wedding day.....will be twenty years in October. Two things I can say about it....it is the hardest bike I have ever tried to keep the points set and timed that I have ever owned...it also has the most comfortable seat ever put on two wheels haha. It is a blast to ride....always a smile. I owned many KZ's over the years, the one I miss the most was a cherry '78 1000. I enjoy your forum/projects as a lurker but have a couple questions to ask so I'm in. I'll add a couple pics of her KZ and my daily rider. Thanks!

Welcome Dan (and KZ owning wife). Both bikes look fantastic. How central in Illinois? Check the Relay Ride 3rd leg posting if you and/or your wife are interested.

Thanks for the welcome. Rainman, I am about 40 minutes NE of Springfield...I read the thread but couldn't tell for sure when/what date the flag would be this way. The little KZ and the H1 aren't fantastic road bikes but timewise if it works out I would try to help it along a little ways through the cornfields. :)
