Hello Y'all .... again

Hi guys and gals .... it's been a while since I've been on the forum. My previous user name was 2M4 Dale .... but after several years of not being on the forum it seems I couldn't log in under that user name ... oh well ... lol

Anyways, I'm still rollin' my 1980 KZ750LTD H1. It's needing a carb rebuild and I hope to get to that this week. I was actually kindof looking for shoe48 (is he still hanging around?) for some insight and maybe some help.

In the past three years my life has gone through the grinder with a divorce and learning to live on my own after 30 years of married life. But through it all I managed to retain ownership of my KZ plus have added two more bikes to my stable. They are both projects (of coarse).

I have added a 1978 Honda CX500 which is well on it's way to becoming a cafe style bike and a 2002 Kawi Vulcan Classic 1500 fi. The Vulcan has tranny problems but I got her cheap ... ugly custom paint and all. The engine is currently at the shop for tranny repairs (Gawd I hope I don't have to saw off a hand or something to pay for said repairs ... lol)

If shoe is still on the forum and don't find my post could someone point him in this direction ??? Thanks, LTD Dale

Well crap Kawi dealer just called. Vulcan tranny trashed .... new motor time %^&*@$$^

Anyone got an '02 1500 Vulcan fi engine just laying around ... lol

Never belive the dealer their job is to sell and waranty new motorcycles take it to someone who makes their living fixing things

Hey Dale, welcome back. Glad to here you got to keep your KZ. I found shoe48 on the user list search. Shows his last login as March 15, 2009. Found your login as well 2M4Dale (without the space between the '4' and the 'D'). Last login March 30, 2009. Doesn't sound like shoe48 is active anymore. But many returning members have complained that their login doesn't work anymore, so maybe he re-registered under a new alias. Good luck.
