Hi, I've just joined after a long while of browsing this great site. I currently have a '77 z750 twin that I am slowly rebuilding when i get time and money. I bought it very cheap as a non-runner but I got it running without much hassle, luckily it had been stored well, although it was stood for 6 years. Now it's a case of replacing/repairing whatever's needed to make it into a nice little bike. I've owned a few Kawasaki's over the last few years, zephyr 1100, z1000st, gpz750 and 900r.. definately got green blood. Big fan of the 70's and 80's bikes, not so much of anything after the gpz900...well maybe the zrx ain't bad. I recognise a few username's on here too. All the best, cheers..

Hi there Steve mate. Build is going ok but slow. Trying to get a good day or two to get some painting done but the weather has gone downhill lately so it's not happening. There are always other jobs to do but I like to finish one job before starting something else. I think I'll get the kettle on, get in the garage and make a start on the wiring. You making gains with yours?

Yes, making good progress at the minute as i've a couple of days off for over Easter. Have hit a couple of minor silly snags but i'll work through it.

good stuff. i hit a big snag with the wiring, this bike is going to take even longer now. thinking i might try and re-wire the whole thing properly, too many owners have messed with it already i discovered at the weekend.
