Just bought a '80 650 LTD in February that hasn't ran in 4 years. Bikes in good shape. I've got it running and driving it around when the weather allows me. Really excited for the upcoming season and making my bike 100%. Ill be putting pictures up in the near future and will definitely have some questions on restoring my bike.

With regard to some preventive maintenance, is the exhaust bluing from only the #4 cylinder. or common to other cylinders as well?

Would double-check fuel mixture as to the "pipe-bluing" cylinders and whether the timing advancer is functioning properly.
