New in Nebraska
26 Mar 2012 23:10 - 26 Mar 2012 23:12
Technically been a member since last summer but spent the time reading instead of posting. Learned both to ride and to wrench on my KZ400LTD. Great little bike!
Anyone else think the clutch cable adjuster was designed by SATAN himself?!

Great looking bike noob! Exactly like mine except I kept the 2x2 exhaust. How many miles on it? I screwed up the clutch adjustment the first time I did it...
I've been wanting to get out to Lincoln to check out the plant where my 900 was built, but this year I'll probably have to take the KZR flag up to Montana (or down to NM) depending on the direction we go.
Keep on wrenching!

Just passed 8500 miles! Only about 1000 of those are mine even though I've owned the bike for around 6 years. Don't really trust it on the LONG rides (an hour or two is ok) but don't know if Im being overcautious...

I tried until I ran out of curse words and then took it to a guy much more experienced than myself.

27 Mar 2012 11:19How did you find an inverse KZ440? Is that a European model with the kickstand on the other side or what? I'm kidding of course because your picture is inverted. Nice looking bike, and welcome to KZR!

Good Fortune!
Patton, I read through a couple of the clutch threads where you helped guys in the same situation. I could tell from your instructions what I was "supposed" to do but just couldn't seem to get it right. I appreciated your patience though!
