Hi everybody!
Here's a new member from Finland to your good looking kawi-forum!
Couple of weeks ago i bought very cheap (in Finland's prices) -1980 KZB 500- bike.
I get it for 290 euros...
The bike was not driven in ten years and it didn't have a front end on it at all.
Im going to build it again to more like cafe racer -style, and i don't have a very big budget for it, but i've got time to search some cheap parts I think, if i can do the whole job in about 2000-2500 euros it's ok for me ( and my wife  )
at now, i have founded a front end from Honda SC28 to it, and a carb rebuild kit from Canada
I'm also planning to chance the alloy-wheels to spoked-ones and maybe painting the fueltank and tailfairing (which i'm going to do with glassfiber) with golden flake and green candypaint..
I do special paintings to motorcycles as my second job, and that for i can save a little money for painting jobs. In my signature is the link to my website, it's in finnish, but i think you can find photos from there, if you want.
And here is the beauty:

Welcome to KZR Jusba! Checked out some the bikes on your site. Very impressive! Definitely an art form. Love the bike with red flame over black having a hint of skulls in the flames.

Thanks, mate!
Yeah, the skulls and flames have been very popular for some time now.. but i think they are now going away by little. I think in about last two years every second paintjob i did, was skulls and flames, skulls and flames..
Here's the straight link to the photoalbum, which includes paintings: www.jppaintshop.fi/albumi/maalauksia/
in here is couple of streetfighter projects i have done:
-01 Kawasaki ZX-6R Streetfighter, which i did about three years ago: www.jppaintshop.fi/albumi/muitakuvia/
and -04 Suzuki GSX-R 750 Streetfighter, which i did about two years ago: www.jppaintshop.fi/albumi/suzuki-projekti
I think the streetfighter-bikes are cool, but for now, i think the old school bikes rocks even more!

Yeah, that thing got's some balls! Really cool!
I was thinking with my project to maybe some day in the future, put a little more power in it.
Does anyone know that does a KZ 750 and a KZ 500 have the same frame? because it would be probably the easiest way to get more power, to change the engine from the 750 to my bike.

Welcome. It looks like you know your way around a bike so I'll be watching how your build goes.
