I just returned to the Kawasaki fold over the weekend.I have been riding Harleys exclusively since 1992. I bought a 1982 KZ1000CSR over the weekend. It is Kawi number seven for me. 1981 KZ750 E1, 1984 GPZ 1100, 2 1986 Ninja 1000Rs, 1989 Ninja ZX10 and a 1991 Ninja ZX11 all bought new. I have an electrical question; do the front turn signals function as running lights too?

I would think that the front signals are two element and do function as running lights.

It is gone now. All of the attractions from it are now up on Route1 in Saugus. Motor head helped me with the lighting issue. They do act as markers. It looks like a fairly easy fix.

As Roy noted, the front signal lights are dual filament, as compared to the rear single filament signal bulbs.

Yes, someone put back blinkers on the front and cut the blue wires. I ordered a set on ebay with the dual filiments.
