Hi From upper midwest was created by KzRockBob
Hi everyone i just bought me a 1976 kz750b1 (lonesome twin ?) <--- not sure if that's correct tho
i do believe so.
It has 13k on the clock fairly clean it does need some work and a general run thru it has 38x2's for carbs look for the correct and proper rebuild kit i have heard about issues with k&l kits but unsure.

I am a welder by trade been doing that for quite awhile now but my plans are to get this beast running and ride-able then to bobbering it and a full on write up to those looking to go that route

Ill be glad to post a pic up thanks for reading

Welcome Bob.

I think your 750 looks too nice to bob, but it is your bike to do what you want.
It's not like mine is true to stock form either.

i think the only thing i might do is a slight cafe over a bob that would entail more work then what should be done to it seat would be stock basically just changing the bars on it / exhaust cause baffles were cut out from previous owner... but i do agree with you rstnick

Howdy! Bob : Nice Classic Cruiser-How does it run ?
Dig these KZ's I thought that they were a thing of the Past-Floored about the interest in the KZ's.
Im a 50yr old teacher and some of my students ride-CBR's and a couple of GSXR's- They wish that they had something that they could ride all day and not a few hours LOL

Welcome and Congrats

Welcome Bob. Those 750 are awesome from what I read from owners on here. Great starting platform for whatever you want to do. Just remember, we like lots of pictures! :)
