Hello my husband Dave was just given a 1978 KZ 750, that used to belong to his dad, his dad once owned a Kawasaki dealership here in Australia. His father sold it to a man in the 80's and he is now finished with it and gave it to us!!! WOW

Needs a good bath it's covered in the Red dirt that is native to the area where its been living.
Will post more pics as he cleans it up, and hopefully can get it running, so we can go cruising once again.

Any members in Australia???

Heather (&Dave)

Welcome Heather(and Dave), looks like lots of miles (kilometers) left in it. Search archives for 750 twin starter clutch for info on the 750 twins weak link.
Good Luck,

Hi Heather,

My 750 is a 79. It's the best restoration I've ever pulled off, (with a lot for help from these folks, mostly KingFish and Clutch ). I've done the starter clutch, pretty easy on the twin, dual front disks, Mac exhaust with carb rejet.

Ask away, we're here cause we're about it!

Bill

I'll get around to fitting the spoked rim to the front sooner or later.
