its a 80 Z650D but a bit of a hybrid :whistle:
this was about a month ago:
the engine is now black, the seat has now been recovered but looks aweful... but i'm buying another full bike next week for spares

Welcome to KZr madart. 
Nice looking 650 you have. And I'll 3rd the response on that shade of green.
If it were me, first thing I'd do is swap the fork tubes (left-to-right, and right-to-left), which will place the calipers behind the axle - cleans up the looks, and aids in better braking/handling under braking.

update on the 650
its all but finished but sadly its off to pastures new in 9 days, just a few little jobs so sort out before it goes
