Checking in from CFL...

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Been cruising the forum for awhile, but figured it was time to register.

Been riding for 30yrs, and my first three cars where bikes.. lol Some of my past street bikes are KZ650SR (done in ELR).. it was my high school bike, and most recent was a ZX12R. (stupid fast).

As we all do, I have gotten the itch again!!!

Im starting a new project and I pick up a 1982J tomorrow afternoon. Lots of plans and aspirations, but still on the drawing board for now. Will get her home and get her cleaned up and start tearing it down. Definitely a mono rear and new support up front on the short list, maybe some ELR paint. We will see..

Anyway, looking forward to contributing where I can.

Welcome to KZR! I'm assuming the 1982 J is a kz100J? If so, that's a nice choice for a project. I'm looking forward to the build thread.

Yes indeed, I should of specified that.. 1982 KZ1000J, the guy has another one, maybe I should pick that up to...

Picked up the "N2M" bike today.. here are a few shots. She's rough, but almost all there, will be a fun project.



May have to put three sets of pegs on this thing.. lol
