newbie

i guess i should have started here before posting my first thread... i'm from a small city in alberta canada... was given a 1978 kz400b1 from a family member(inlaw) that was in the family for upwards of 15-20 years. it is fully stock and has around 16000kms on it, but was running poorly. changed a few things like new cluch, tires, battary, cables,etc. So far i'v got it running better than it has in years, but still dealing with some gremlins, but am determined to get this bike purring(almost there).Finding this site has been great, helpful, and full of info for the do it yourselfer. I hope i dont wear out my welcome with too many dumb questions. I hope to send some photos of the ol' girl soon and its progress... paint this winter. happy riding

I just thought that might help as it seems that more of us own the larger displacement bikes here. There is some stuff unique to the 400's, and sometimes those questions take longer to get answers here.

Thanks, i'm aware of the kz400 site. This site seems to have alot more personal experiences and references that can guide me. Also the archives link is good cause theres alot of questions that have already been answered for me.
