Well, technically not the first, I owned a GSXR for a few months a couple of years ago.

But heres what I got now!

Its a 76 KZ750 Twin. Picked it up for 800 along with another stock frame, a hardtail frame, a second engine, a different front fork, another front wheel, a spare set of bars and gauges, and some other bits and pieces. The running bike isn't titled, but the other 2 frames are. Right now I am in the process of applying for a title for it.

heres another pic of how it was when I got it.

So far Ive trimmed the front signals, fixed some dents and repainted the tank, installed a set of drag bars, and made my own seat. I am going for a cafe build, but this is a totally new work to me so I am taking it slow.

This is it now.

I do have one question, how do people clear out the section under the seat like this?

I really want to do this to mine but have no idea where to put any of that stuff!

Hi Guy,

I also have a 750 Twin. I'm just about finished with the restore. Don't suppose one of those frames has a seat lock you'd spare? One of these days I'll get around to fitting a spoked rim to the front.

Either way, Welcome to KZR.

Bill

Neither of the seat locks on either of the stock frames work. The lock that holds my fuel cap shut also doesnt stay locked.

Welcome! Always glad to see another 750 twin. Mine's a '79 that's my daily rider. Nothing fancy, just a nice survivor.
