Hi there , I just got my first bike it's a kz 1000 78.
There was some work to do on the bike like every old bikes.

What are the upgrades for my bike. I've clean the carbs and wanted to do something about the air box I've read that pods were ok but smoothbores where way better.

What pipes can i put on the bike because the one that I've got a all rusted out so changing them would be nice. I'll try to send some pics of it so you can tell me waht you guyz think about it.

Congratulations on the bike. I can't help with the mechanicals, but I will say that's a lot of bike for your first. Hope you'll take the time to find a motorcycle safety course in your area. You'll save on insurance if nothing else. Have fun.
