Hello from the cheeze and beer state!

I'm in school for wind energy (that's my official mechanical training), and personally own a XL1200 Sportster. HOWEVER, I really love motorcycles, and a friend from church is asking me to restore a '81 or '82 750. She looks like she just needs to be cleaned, hoses replaced, hopefully nothing major. I'm kinda hoping to use you people (and animals) to throw some help at me, so I can get her running again.
If I swipe this bike (I'm smelling cafe racer?), it'd be nice to have one to ride while the other is mad at me or I *ahem* damaged.
I'm sorry if this doesn't make 100% sense, been drinking and kinda diagnosed ADHD. :woohoo:
...and I'll be throwing a pic or few once I find that damn camera...
