Hello From Barcelona !!!!!

Hello Everyone ,

first let me introduce my self , i have had 2 KZ 400 bikes for over 10 years , one got stolen a few years ago , but since then i have been trying to restore - transform other bikes i have found in the way .

i will have some techinicall questions about a kz 650 that im rebuilding now .

i use this web - forum as a fountain of knowledge !!!!!! hope i can one day give back some usable feedback !

ps , one quick question while im at it , where and what kid of gas - throttle handle i should buy or get for it to fit the same gas handle cables ? i will probably make a new starter button / kill switch elsewhere in the bike .

Let me say welcome to KZR! I had no idea that our favorite Kawasakis were sold in Catalunya.

It would seem that you should be able to get a replacement throttle handle from ebay. Maybe I don't understand the question. Are you looking to change it, or do you not have one?

Hi , well they where , i actually bought mine in Holland and brought them over , but yes , there where a few rambling around this part of Europe .

well my question is if you had any idea of an aftermarket gas throttle / handle ( push pull ) , im trying to simplify the controls on my kz650 , there is a brand called Domino here that has some cool ones , but maybe you knew any brands or types that are compatible with the KZ , the other question was the controls , if there was any newer simpler ones that can be mounted on ( lights , high , low , horn , kill switch , etc etc )

ill try to take some snapshots of the bike this week and post them in .

Sorry, but I don't have any direct experience with an aftermarket throttle handle. All of my bikes have the stock handles and switchgear with new grips. Maybe someone else will see your post who has better knowledge on this subject.

Welcome. We have a lot of 650 owners that know a lot about these bikes. Roy

not sure what u meen by simplify the controls. i thought they were pritty simple ?
i put a cbr1000rr throttle control on my cbr600f4i ,it needed to be rewired internaly.
the biggest hurdel that i can think of ,is the cable mounts. some bikes have dif thread sizes. if u fine 1 with the same thread size, u should be able to work around any wireing differances.
