i am an original kaw superbike for the eastside of detroit
i had the first 500 and i had one of the first 1973 z 1 s larry lappin took mine for a ride and was hooked ,
i would like to become active here once i figure out the ins and outs
i just purchased a 1980 z 1 classic with 17.5 k miles on it . i would call it an 8 on the show room scale , until i straddled it and shifted into first gear and all the following gears , it is impossible to ride .
i read on this site that a F I bike had hickups , the best definition of what this bike runs like . it is like all 4 cyl. shut down then fire up the chain wants to rip the sprocket right off the back tire . this happens at machinegun fire rate .
one other thing , in idle it revs to 6 k with ease .
so i learn easy let me know whats next kawasaki
