New member - new project

Hi guys and gals. My name is Phil. I live in Wollongong, a city just south of Sydney, NSW, Australia. While recovering from a serious M/C accident last year I decided that it was time to restore the Shadowfax Kawasaki, a race bike from 1981 that has been living with me for over 15 years in a stare of disrepair.

Here's what it looked like back in the day and what, I plan, for it to look like pretty soon.



I've been documenting the build on my own web site and rather than duplicate it all here, I hope it's satisfactory to redirect to it and people can read as much or as little as they feel like.

This is my first project (I'm 62 years old) and I'm enjoying it immensely. I'm still limited in certain ways by my injuries but I'm finding this project is great therapy.
