New member with new project

New member here from VT with a new GPZ project. I just finished a couple of Suzuki's and bought an 81 GPZ110 in rough shape. It's a fulie converted to carbs and the tank is pretty rough. I have yet to hear it run. Any advice on the tank ( location or one or a good place to get it fixed) would be great.

Welcome Gpz 1100 nice bike i brought my kz1000 in 1980 the next year that bike came out.At that time i wished i waited a year now im happy with the kz. Try ebay craigs list if they dont have it keep trying it should show up.Good luck

Welcome to KZR! I really like the looks of that GS850G. Actually they are both nice bikes but the 850 is purty. I'm sure your GPZ will turn out well. Keep us posted with new pictures as you find time. BTW I just sold a GS750 not long ago. The guys here didn't give me too much heck over it. Are you a member at GSR?
