This was my first bike that i loved, it was a 1979 kz400, i took decent care of it and rode it for about 5000 miles before i ended up having issues with it dying all the time and sold it. I bought for $200 and sold for $500 so i wasn't really too upset. haha i actually never finished the seat up.

Well the new bike in question is a 1978 kz200 which is for sale for 250 asking price. i'm very interested in it as another project cafeish bike. The issue is it is completely disassembled and in pieces, a project given up on by a local guy who has too many project bikes as it is

Is it worth picking it up for this price or should i go lower, and yes the motor and tranny are in working order.

i'm wanting to offer $150 and go from there, what do you guys think?

If you are comfortable that all parts are there, then you are in the correct range for a sale :) I have had a yen for a KZ200 and wouldn't hesitate at US$100-$200.

Is there any things I should watch out for on a kz200
