Just thought I,d pop in and say hello from the UK.Recentley swapped my old Yamaha FJ1200 for a Z1100 shaftie which has been somewhat chopped about.
Look forward to having a good browse round the site in between bouts of rebuilding;)

we had a staffordshire female growing up.

Cool dogs aren,t they? Hopefully get a little bitch to go with the dog in the near future:)

Basically the bike will get stripped.
The frame and swing arm will need powder coating.
The engine block will also get some paint at this point and the cases will get polished.
May well invest in some proper K&N,s at this point too as well as a new exhaust system.
The rear wheel is a standard 16" one so I plan to swap the front end for a 16"setup from a later GPZ.
I,m at a loss what to do with the tail piece at present but no doubt insperation will appear at some point:pa
As for the tank,well I am toying with the idea of a pair of twin Harley tanks with a nice stainless centre piece:ohmy:
The speedo/instruments have been replaced with a Koso digital all in one unit which I put on this weekend.
Bar wise I,ve just replaced them with a pair of superbike type bars


Already swapped the twin spots on the first picture for a proper square Kwak unit tooB)
