New from va beach

So today I traded my suzuki katana for a 1980 kz 440 LTD and i love this bike.The only problem it has is when you put it into gear it pegs the rpms to 5000. I figure its probally a clutch problem.Anyway my name is chris im the US Navy in i ride in VA Beach. This is my 3rd bike and second classic bike.

Chris, I looked at your bike for awhile and the first thing that you can check is make sure that the throttle cable has the proper slack in it.
