Just a quick brief to intro. myself.
46 years young,been into zeds for the last 20 years
Stay in Aberdeen Scotland

Current zed I have had since 1996
Started life as an imported KZ1000A1 originally from Wisconsen USA
Over the years have done bits & pieces to get it to where it is now.
It was never destined to be Concours,Only the way I wanted it.
It is a bit of a Hybrid

Powder coated frame (rear end cut down/shortened)
Metmachex deep braced swing arm
KZ1000A1 bottom end
Z900 Barrels - bored to 1015 with wiesco pistons
z900 head slightly ported
standard valves & cams
bronze guides
Kerker oil cooler with stainless braided hoses
1974 z900 28mm carbs 120 mains & 20 pilots
K&N individual filters
Barnett clutch
Dyna coils with Taylor leads
Boyer ignition
Harris 4-1 (race baffle)
Paint by "Bike Paints" in Couper Scotland
Pearlescant black with pearlescant silver & solid white stripes
Piant work is Roughly based on Z1B 1975 without the top pinstrpes
Original front forks with progressive springs & Tarrozi Fork brace
z1000A2 1978 wheels - re-rimmed with stainless spokes by Central Wheels Birmingham England
Rear sets (origin Unknown) I think from a drum brake z900 - modified to disc set up.
These to be replaced with Tarrozi this winter.
