New Member Here!! 1981 KZ440 Hardtail Custom

Hello KZRIDER!

Im very pleased to have come upon this site. Wished I would have known about it sooner!!
I have a 1981 KZ440 that I have dedicated a year in my garage to!
This little one has been hardtailed, frame painted gloss black, upper triple tree and hardware polished, legs polished, new leg covers, wheels custom painted and striped, new bars (mounted upside down), vintage grips, new throttle tube and clutch mech, new throttle and clutch cables, "new" carbs, emgo pods, aftermarker headlight, custom painted sporty tank, springer seat...its been a fun and stressful build...as this was from the bare frame up. All in my garage....

Im still workin out some of the kinks but this KZ is fun to ride...(once started hahahah)!
I look forward to forum interactions and meeting new KZ riders!

Wow!! Good job!

You'll be working out the kinks in your neck if you ever ride it and need to stop in a hurry (no front brake and reduced rear braking due to hardtail bounce) :woohoo: Good luck.

lol...I hear ya 650ed! Riding this one even tho a 440 is not for faint of heart or inexperienced....
